Absolute,
the
Ishvara
has used this term as a synonym for The
Consciousness. The
Absolute is everything that is. This all-ness is a synergy
of the infinitely unique and separate physical forms that are
part of the whole of Life.

actuality
The Consciousness as it
is, without interpretation, assessment, attachment, or resistance.
Actuality is very physical. For example, a coffee table without
the label of coffee table is actuality. It is palpable,
tangible, and it exists moment by moment. We ascribe a reality
to it by calling it a coffee table, and by thinking
of it as attractive, or useful, or a nice place on which to
rest our feet. But it exists as something that is, regardless
of these labels or interpretations. Actuality is the Is-ness
of The Consciousness. Actuality is ultimately beyond words or
description, but we sometimes must use words to speak of it.

Alaya
Alaya means
“indissoluble” or incapable of division: the root
of all beings and things. This word describes how in The Consciousness
every thing is connected and forms a wholeness. Alaya is also
the name of the community founded by Ishvara.

allowing
Allowing is the absence of effort or striving. It
means experiencing each moment without resistance or judgment.
Allowing is not passive; it is very active. Allowing means taking
the step that is in front of us, whatever that may be. When
we are not laboring under resistance or attachment,
we have tremendous energy to act.
Back

attachment
Clinging to or holding onto anything. It includes hanging onto
beliefs, concepts, expectations, interpretations, systems, structures,
relationships, wealth or material possessions. Attachment creates
a distorted experience, an alteration of the unique
expression of The Consciousness
that each of us is. Back

Consciousness,
The
Ishvara
uses this term to describe what some might call “God.”
The term God, however, usually refers to some “Other,”
thus implying an outside controlling force. The Consciousness
is a wholeness, a synergy
made up of individual, unique parts. In this synergy nothing
is ever excluded or left out; everything is connected. In The
Consciousness, all true needs are met, moment by moment. The
Consciousness is all that is, expressing itself uniquely through
the infinite possibilities of physical form. Each of us is a
unique
expression of The Consciousness.

directive
discipline
The decision to no longer permit an emotion,
a condition, or a habit to govern our experience by realizing
the price we have been paying for the emotion, condition, or
habit, and deciding not to pay that price in this moment. It
involves using the light hand of direction, instead of a heavy
hand of control or force. For example, by letting go of the
label for an emotion (e.g. "anger" or "fear"
or "frustration") and experiencing the raw energy
underlying it, the emotion becomes a feeling;
or deciding in this moment not to follow a habitual pattern
that has been causing suffering or has been lowering our frequency
of energy. Back
to Top
ego
This is another term for the conditional
mind. It describes the collection of beliefs that
make up the perception of a bounded or stuck individual. In
truth, however, the ego does not exist. To struggle with the
ego is to struggle with an illusion. So the attempt to overcome
the ego only serves to perpetuate the illusory experience of
disconnection or isolation. Ishvara sometimes refers to the
ego as the I-consciousness.

Feeling-knowing is awareness without doubt. It is not thought
or belief. It is not intuition. Feeling-knowing is the direct
experience of The Consciousness

The working
aspect of the brain. In its lower
functioning, the intellect looks for ways to implement the long-held
beliefs and concepts of how life should be. It is often a negative
commentator. The intellect’s higher function is to access
feeling-knowing and
to look for connection and harmony in every moment, such as,

Ishvara
A Sanskrit term meaning all that humanity can know of
God. Ishvara became aware of this name in the clarity
of his awakening event. Since then, his life has been focused
on fully expressing The Consciousness
that he is, moment by moment. Ishvara is not a master of words.
He is a master of presence and allowing.
He is a living example of all that humanity can know of The
Consciousness. Ishvara's Biography

The state or level of awareness where all concepts and beliefs
are suspended. This awareness allows for the acceleration of
the mind-body into a liberated unconditional existence that
goes beyond past and current levels of intelligence. This state
allows for the awareness of future possibilities and the feeling-knowing
of the steps that need to be taken to bring about a new level
of human existence. Back

New
Consciousness
The awareness of a new way of being for humanity. The level
at which the new human will function in a more pure realm of
connected existence that has transcended the conditional beliefs
and concepts of the past. This awareness allows for the realization
of a sustainable future for all of humanity and the earth. The
true planetary citizen is born without borders. The diverse
and unique expressions of each new human are accepted as a part

“I” am powerless or “I” need to find
a way to fit into the world around me. Often the personality

reality
The experience
that is created by our thoughts, beliefs and concepts. For example,
when we allow Life to be as it is and then take whatever step
there is to take, moment by moment, Life is effortless. That
is the actuality of The Consciousness.
The Consciousness is an effortless flow of energy. This actuality
is distorted by the belief that one is a powerless individual
who must struggle and strain to get what is wanted in life.
That belief creates suffering. This suffering is reality, a
credible experience created by belief. It is a distortion of
the Is-ness of The Consciousness.Back

view
To have right view is to see the moment as it is, without resistance
or attachment. Right view is the
clarity that comes when we live without an agenda. When we live
with right view, we are not trying to control or alter the moment.
Instead, we are allowing the
highest good to unfold, moment
by moment. Back

separation
Usually the
belief that there is some “other”: some other time,
some other place, some other experience than what is occurring
in this moment. This belief arises mainly from the experience
of physical separation. My body is separate from yours, and
so the conditional mind
thinks and allows that there must be the “other”.
From this belief come all forms of division: “heaven and
earth,” “human and divine,” “body and
soul,” “this lifetime, next lifetime.” The
belief spawns greed, striving, violence and bigotry. It is the
root of human misery. In authentic awareness we are liberated
by seeing Life is a synergy of separate unique expressions that
can come together in connection to form a greater wholeness.Back

Space,
the
The Space is the presence of The
Consciousness, undistorted by beliefs, concepts, systems
or structures. In this clarity, radical
transformation occurs at an accelerated pace, without effort
or strain. The Space is not confined to any location. It is
everywhere. Yet the clarity of the Space is palpable in Ishvara's
presence. Back

soul
The belief in a soul
is part of the belief in the “other“: some outside
heaven, hell, or some other life. Ishvara refers to soul as
the accumulation of personal experiences that are held in the
brain-mind for learning purposes. Authentic awareness brings
the realization that this life is it. There is no other life
to experience, and there is no part of the human personality
that survives death. When the brain ceases to exist, the body
ceases to exist, and that life experience becomes part of the
continuing accumulation of the intelligence that is The Consciousness.

spirituality
This is generally understood to refer to the path
